Preparing Pardus Installation DVD in Windows

1. Download Pardus: http://en.pardus-wiki.org/Pardus:Download Pardus Live CD can be used to check whether your hardware is ready for installing Pardus. However, note that, it cannot be used to install Pardus 2008.1 to your hard disk. In order to install Pardus 2008.1 Hyaena Hyaena, you must download Pardus 2008.1 Hyaena Hyaena ISO file mentioned above.

2. Download Active IsoBurner (it is less than 0.5MB and does not require installation): http://www.portablefreeware.com/download.php?dd=1120 Unzip the files, and run the program.

3. Choose the .iso image to burn, and proceed, make sure to burn the DVD at the lowest speed possible to avoid data corruption.

4. Keeping the disc in the drive, retart your computer, when the bootstrap loader is in progress, press F12, and choose the "CD/DVD" option. Proceed with the installation as usual. http://en.pardus-wiki.org/Pardus:Installation2008
