I want to contribute to PardusWiki! What should I do?

There are many ways to contribute. Below, some of the best ideas that you can achieve with a small amount of effort are listed.

Create New Pages

Especially, if internal links in current pages points to an empty page, you can fill them up.

Blue (or violet, if you have visited before) links are current pages. Red (or orange, if you have visited before) links are the pages that do not exist for now. It is preassumed that the person who put the link to that page thought there was information about the topic. This can be a bad idea, of course; and maybe the link should be deleted. It's also possible that there may be a typo or the correct name of the link may not be known by the previous editor. That's why, you can correct this link, and/or create a redirection to the page. If you think there should a page at the redirected site, go ahead and start writing!

While searching for the red links, you can look at the demanded pages list(?) and select one which you think you know about it. (Please take a look at the "Where should I start" part)

Where should I start

You can start with generating a list of TO-DO's. Give the priority to the topics you think you know more. Research as much as you can before starting to write a page. At the end, add the information you collected to the pages

Translation tasks

It is needed to translate and update topics in Wiki as they are continuously being added and modified. You are encouraged to translate pages from English to any other languages. Before doing that, please take a look at the page translating pages to other languages

Maintenance tasks

There are many things that must be done although it is not related with changing the contents of a page in a creative way. Sometimes all you have written can be erased by another user. Take it easy, men; that's a part of life :) You can view the previous versions of the page.

Drafts

Drafts are pages that are started by PardusWiki writers and have not been completed yet. You can help the development of this knowledge source by contributing to complete these pages!

Your suggestions

PardusWiki will grow with your suggestions. You can contribute to current discussions and suggest solutions from Wiki Construction page.
