Install CD


You can run Pardus 2008.1 on an average hardware. We suggest to use at least 512 MB RAM (memory) and 1200 MHz processor to get an effective performance. Minimum and recommended hardware requirements for Pardus 2008 are mentioned below:

   * 256 MB memory (512 MB recommended)
   * 800 MHz Intel or AMD processor (1200 MHz recommended)
   * At least 4 GB of free hard disk space (10 GB recommended)

You may refer to the release notes to see what's new and unique in Pardus 2008.1 and consult the installation manual to see the screenshots for installation.

Live CD

Pardus Live CD can be used to check whether your hardware is ready for installing Pardus. However, note that, it cannot be used to install Pardus 2008.1 to your hard disk. In order to install Pardus 2008.1 Hyaena Hyaena, you must download Pardus 2008.1 Hyaena Hyaena ISO file mentioned above.

Older versions of Pardus, as far back as the very first version, can be found by following the links provided ^ then clicking on hyperlink "Up to higher level directory" which will redirect you to a page containing all of the Pardus releases.
