Hardware Information

Pardus Installation

2008.1 / updated to 2008.2 No additional process is needed than the standard installation.

Graphics Card

By default works well but without 3d support.

Audio Card

It's working out-of-box with no problem.

Keyboard

Fn keys, Lenovo Multimedia keys, touchpad (with scroll etc.) automatically configured by installation.

CD/DVD Read,Write

Works all well...

WiFi

Network-manager handles the ipw3945 automatically but the FnF5 key seems not working. (The hardware button to turn on/off both the bluetooth and wlan works well)

Modem

Haven't been tried

PCMCIA

Haven't been tried

Battery , Power-Management

Suspend to Disk works well without any setting. (have swap partition larger than the RAM although it is not used during normal usage but suspend).

Built-in Card-Reader

I did not try as I don't have a SD/MMC card now, pity they don't deliver CF card readers with laptops :).

Webcam

Works perfect out of the box! Did not do anything just start skype or kopete and see it working.

Biometric reader/Fingerprint reader

Hardware is recognized by default, out of box!Just install pam_fprint package from the repository to use it, and for the settings check pam_frint wiki
