LXDE

In order to install and use LXDE in Pardus 2008/2009 enter the following cammads in a Konsole:

Install source:

sudo pisi ar PLO2009-free http://pisi.pardus-linux.org/_pisifiles/P2009-free/pisi-index.xml.bz2 -y

Install the required packages:

sudo pisi it openbox lxsession pcmanfm menu-cache lxmenu-data lxpanel lxde-common gpicview lxappearance leafpad lxinput lxlauncher lxnm lxrandr lxsession-edit lxshortcut lxtask lxterminal obconf -y

Make the change to start LXDE at reboot:

kwrite ~/.dmrc

and change

Session=default >> Session=LXDE

Save and Reboot.
