Pardus Installation
This device has no CD drive. So you may either use an external CD drive or create a USB installation disc.
Press F9 to select boot device when starting the machine.
Only thing you have to pay attention is to write ssb.blacklist=1 in first screen and press Enter. Installation will hang if you don't do this. (This problem is possibly caused by a conflict in Broadcom wireless driver)

You have to force using wl and hp-wmi modules. To do that:
- Press Alt+F2.
- Write kdesu kwrite /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 and press enter.
- Add this line at the end of file: wl
- Add this line after that: hp-wmi
- Save the file
- Modules will load next time you start Pardus.
You may connect using Network Manager after loading these modules.
Note that hp-wmi module is for the wireless activation button and wl is for the broadcom wireless card.
3G Broadband Modem
You have to use the firmware files (amss.mbn and apps.mbn) from Windows XP driver_TR or Windows XP driver_EN.
Install gobi_loader from Package Manager and copy firmware files in /lib/firmware/gobi/ directory.
When the modem device (/dev/ttyUSB0) is ready, you may connect using KPPP.
Wireless button also controls modem, so be sure to load hp-wmi module as mentioned above in WiFi section.
After disconnecting the battery 3G device won't show up. To fix this issue you can use the rfkill utility:
