Prerequisite
Your CD writer must have the LightScribe logo. You have to use special CD-R that have the LightScribe logo.
Download
Download the LightScribe system software.
Download LaCie LightScribe Labeler.
Save them both to the desktop.
Make sure you have the program rpm2targz installed on your machine using Package Manager.
Installation
In Konsole, run:
cd /home/<username>/Desktop
rpm2targz lightscribe-1.14.25.1-linux-2.6-intel.rpm
rpm2targz 4L-1.0-r6.i586.rpm
Open Programs>System>More Applications>File Manager – Super User Mode and move the newly created .tar.gz files to /
Right click each, selecting Extract>Extract Here
Usage
To run LaCie, type the following command line into “Run Command” (Alt-F2)
kdesu 4L-gui
