Prerequisite
Your CD writer must have the LightScribe logo. You have to use special CD-R that have the LightScribe logo.
Download
Download the LightScribe system software from here: [1]
Download LaCie LightScribe Labeler here: [2]
Save both to the desktop.
Make sure you have the program rpm2targz installed on your machine using Package Manager.
Installation
In Konsole, run:
cd /home/<username>/Desktop
rpm2targz lightscribe-1.14.25.1-linux-2.6-intel.rpm
rpm2targz 4L-1.0-r6.i586.rpm
Open Programs>System>More Applications>File Manager – Super User Mode and move the newly created .tar.gz files to /
Right click each, selecting Extract>Extract Here
To run LaCie, type into “Run Command”
kdesu 4L-gui
