Adobe Acrobat Reader

Go to: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/unix/9.x/

Select newest directory > enu (or other language) > download the .bin version (at this moment) AdbeRdr9.3.3-1_i486linux_enu.bin

To install Adobe Acrobat Reader .bin:

1. Browse in Dolphin to the directory where you have downloaded the file and make the .bin file executable with right-click > Properties > Permissions > mark at 'Is executable' >OK
2. Open a terminal with F4 and start the installer with:

sudo ./AdbeRdr9.3.3-1_i486linux_enu.bin

Result:

sudo ./AdbeRdr9.3.3-1_i486linux_enu.bin

This installation requires 145 MB of free disk space.

Enter installation directory for Adobe Reader 9.3.3 [/opt]  
/opt

Installing platform independent files ... Done
Installing platform dependent files ... Done
Setting up libraries ... Done
Setting up desktop and menu icons ... Done
Setting up the browser plugin ... Done

This will install acrobatreader into the directory /opt. The menu entry is (after a new start of the computer) in Menu > Office
