Installing the package

Install the necessary package(s) by typing:

Pardus 2008

sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2008/brscan-0.2.4-1.pisi
sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2008/brscan2-0.2.5-2.pisi
sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2008/brscan3-0.2.8-2.pisi

Pardus 2009

sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2009/brscan-0.2.4-1.pisi
sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2009/brscan2-0.2.5-2.pisi
sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2009/brscan3-0.2.8-2.pisi

The related sane backend is automatically installed and added to the sane backends list.

Uninstalling the drivers

Remove the installed package(s) using console:

sudo pisi rm brscan
sudo pisi rm brscan2
sudo pisi rm brscan3

Status

Andreas Jürgens which requested this driver, reported [2] that the scanner and the printer works well under Pardus 2008.
