This document explains how to correctly configure Brother DCP-135C on Pardus.

Installing the package

Install the necessary packages by typing:

Pardus 2008

sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2008/brother-dcp135c-1.0.1-1.pisi

Pardus 2009

sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2009/brother-dcp135c-1.0.1-1.pisi

Configuring the printer

The configuration is automatically done after the package installation. Just restart the CUPS service:

sudo service cups restart

Configuring the scanner

For installing the scanner, please refer to the related wiki entry Brother scanner support for DCP and MFC models.

Uninstalling the drivers

Remove the installed package using console:

sudo pisi rm brother-dcp135c

Status
