Installing the package

Install the necessary package by typing:

Pardus 2008

sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2008/xerox-phaser3100mfp-1.0-1.pisi

Pardus 2009

sudo pisi it http://cekirdek.pardus.org.tr/~ozan/dist/binaries/2009/xerox-phaser3100mfp-1.0-1.pisi

Configuring the printer

Open TASMA->Printers section. Choose USB as interface and select Xerox Phaser 3100MFP from the list when asked. Complete the following steps.

Configuring the scanner

Unknown.

Configuring the fax

Unknown.

Uninstalling the drivers

Remove the installed package using console:

sudo pisi rm xerox-phaser3100mfp

Status

One of our users reported[0] that the printer works after following the above steps.
