HOWTO:Set Konqueror as Default File Manager

Dolphin is the default file manager of most KDE4 based distribution and by Pardus 2009 too. But there is a lot of people, who don't like dolphin and prefer the old friend Konqueror. This document explains, how to set Konqueror as default file manager for a given user profile.

As the first step open the K-Menu and go to the System Settings.

Then click the Default Applications symbol under the Personal section.

You will see a list on the left side of the window, pick up the File Manager. Finally select Konqueror as Default Component.
